Having a whale of a good time. :-)
After spending the night at Bay of LA, we head north once again. This time we take a rough, rocky, and occasionally sandy dirt route through Coco's corner and up to San Felipe. This will be our last night in Mexico. Tomorrow I will be home once again. Time to start planning the next adventure.

Went exploring in the mountains yesterday. Visited two small villages we had not been to before. Came across a leather place where they do everything including their own tanning. These are the tanks where the hides are processed. We didn't even want to know what kind of chemicals were in these. I did notice a small pile of bones in one place. I really didn't want to know what (or who) might have fallen in. They are famous for the beautiful saddles they produce plus all sorts of other leather goods.
Went hiking yesterday on an old route I have done many, many times in the past. Seems the recent hurricane has made a few changes in the trail. Fun! !
Another day in paradise. Oh well, if I didn't do it, you would have to and we don't want that do we?
We made it to Cabo San Lucas today. Now for a few days of relaxing. One day this week we will ride West and up into the mountains to explore a couple old villages we haven't been to before. That should be fun. Other than that, the pool and the beach sound pretty good to us all.
Another fun day motorcycling in Baja, Mexico. Settled into a great hotel for the night. This is the fountain outside the restaurant we ate in tonight.

We rode the TGV train (the fast one) back to Barcelona today. Was less than 4 hours from Avignon, France. Now we are settled in to a small town just south of Barcelona for a couple nights. Here is the view from our room tonight.
Our last night in Avignon, France. Left the boat this morning for the last time. :-(
Tomorrow it's back to Spain.
Today's bicycle ride was 30.6 miles. The focus of this ride was Pont du Garde. Beautiful old Roman aquaduct. Great ride!
Today we stayed on the boat. A storm came up and the wind is blowing. We stayed on board, watched the storm blow by and sipped hot chocolate all day.
We had a great day today. Rode 36.6 miles on the bicycles. Highlight of the day was a visit to the old village of LeBaux in Provence. Got lots of exercise since like most old towns and fortresses, they are built on the top of a mountain. We did lots of climbing but the small and twisty roads were a bicyclists dream. Incredible scenery all the way. We are back on the boat for the night. Will do a short bike ride in the morning and then we will cruise the boat across the river (Rhone). To another landing point for a ride to Pont du Gard on Thursday.
As we cruise up the canal, we see some white Camargue horses, blue herons, and much other wildlife.
This morning we pushed off from our dock and are heading up the canal. We will be getting of the boat after breakfast and bicycling to Arles to meet up one again with the boat. The photo shows us as we are turning the boat around.
