I'm staying at my usual place in Cabo while here for a few days. A little unnerving while in a foreign country and the five guys occupying the room next to you come and go fully armed with AK47's and pistols on their belts. Seems though they are a special police squad working on the drug violence and are here because of a recent shootout at a mall in the north part of town. I made peace upon arrival by sharing my leftover halloween candy with them. They loved it and have been great neighbors ever since. I'm just glad these walls are thick so if the bad guys discover their whereabouts, none of the bullets will enter my room. Other than that, I'm having a great time. More later ...
